Voices from History, Voices That Matter, Voices to Remember

Dr. Martin Luther King

A story, a song, with photos, and video about Dr. Martin Luther King, takes us back to remember the 1960’s civil rights movement in the United States.

Near the beginning of this video, M.L. King is shown talking about character: “We want to be persons judged not on the basis of the color of our skin, but on the basis of the content of our character.”

John Legend is singing, “In the Name of Love”, a new recording of the U2 song.

Dr. King reminds us to keep moving forward, in love for all God’s people, with his words:

“If you can’t fly – run, if you can’t run – walk, if can’t walk – crawl, but by all means, keep moving.”
